I use statements to punctuate or illustrate a concept or idea. the term pink vomit came to me about four years ago as a way of visually describing the way i think about my art. that is, a literal explanation, to describe a conceptual or visceral experience.
pink vomit, in its simpliest form, can be described as the act of eating so much candy and making oneself sick.
it is an opposition.
satiation.
loving something (or someone) to the point that you are left vulnerable.
its over the top.
its consumerism.
its american culture.
its fanaticsm
its celebrity.

tiny palpitation is a more recent idea that developed as i began to add more of myself emotionally to my art. i guess it can best be depicted visually as the heartbeat of a small bird.
tiny palpitation is quiet.
its ethereal.
its philosophical.
its unquestionable devotion and love.
its the idea that knowledge can never be taken away from you.
its beauty in its ultimate form.
its the birth of creation.
its acceptance.
its meditation.

so how does one balance both of these concepts? i guess i dont really know. but there is balance in all life... and there is a reaction to all actions.
i often think of magnets. and circles. geometry and physics.

there is an amount of peace in the realization that life is perfect because it is exactly as it is supossed to be.

I like these ideas, nice! I think the key to balance is finding the right forum for each idea, the way that suits the needs/demands of the idea. This concept comes to me as "the chicken" that David Lynch refers to in an interview I once saw. He talks about how the chicken head is small and fast a detialed. The eye has fast movement, the head jerks, the beak pecks and breaths, and it must all be very meticulously correct for the chicken to live. And then there's the body, just this brody body with flat feathers. Sure the body moves, but it follows the head and is more of an 'area' of chicken. There's no need for detail on the body of a chicken, that is not its function; it needs breadth and an open approach. The head and body exist together, they are part of the same but also distinct, as are your pink vomit and tiny palpitation. I hope this response isn't too pretentious!

Do you have it? If so can I borrow it?! If not, maybe I'll try to rent it or something. You should come over a watch.

By the way, did you move yet? What did you do with your piano? I miss it!
